I am a producer, researcher, and project manager, known for embracing the creative process while keeping projects efficient and focused. With a background in history and first-person storytelling, I create media experiences for museums and non-profit institutions. I also produce independent documentaries for PBS and other outlets, and was nominated for a national Emmy Award for Outstanding Research. Teaching is as much my passion as filmmaking, and I have served as an instructor for MassArt's Continuing Education Program and at Chicago Filmmakers, leading classes in documentary film research and production.
I have a BA in history from Oberlin College and an MA in American Studies from UMass–Boston.
